The heavy stands are divided into two categories:

 Packing racks for pallets are storage stands with deep charge. It is a very spread construction that has a high density of the charge for 1m2  of storehouse.

The packing stands represent a hard construction of vertical beams fixed by a number of horizontal beams; it is added a slip system. On these slips are installed the pallets with goods. In the direction of the charge the stride of the frames or shelves of the packing stand are chosen in dependence on the weight and size of the stored charge and the necessary number of pallets. The elements of the stand are bolted together assuring a quick and safe installation. For a convenient work of the loaders and for the protection of the shelves are provided protective fencing.

Pallet racks.
This stand system is the most called-for in the majority of the storage spaces and it is designed for storage of the goods on the pallets of different types. The organization of storage of the pallets on charge stands allows a more effective use of the storage spaces, the reduction of the cost for storage and the organization of computer record.

Metal pallet stands have the following qualities:
Relative low prices, simplicity in installing, direct and fast access to all levels and pallets with goods. Regarding the defect of the (frontal) pallet stands construction we can mention a low efficiency in using the storage space in comparison with other type of stands – deep stands.
